Setelah Lindsay Lohan dan Rachel McAdams mengalami masa keemasan mereka, sepertinya nama Amanda Seyfried, sebagai salah satu dari "lulusan" Mean Girls, perlahan-lahan mulai menanjak di Hollywood. Mendapat breakthrough ke dua di film populer Mamma Mia!, Seyfried berhasil menarik perhatian para produser Hollywood dan perlahan tapi pasti mulai mendapat kepercayaan sebagai aktris pemeran utama.

Tahun 2010 mendatang, nama Seyfried akan semakin banyak dikenal mengingat banyak filmnya akan rilis di tahun mendatang. Sebut saja Chloe (bersama Julianne Moore dan Liam Neeseon), karya adaptasi novel Nicholas Spark, Dear John (bersama Channing Tatum), sebuah film animasi berjudul Marmaduke dan film berikut, Letters to Juliet.

Letters to Juliet mengisahkan mengenai seorang wanita Amerika (Seyfried) yang mengunjungi Verona, tempat dimana latar belakang kisah Romeo & Juliet terjadi. Di wilayah ini, ada tradisi dimana seorang wanita akan meninggalkan sebuah surat cinta, yang disebut Letter of Juliet, untuk nantinya akan dibaca oleh Juliet. Penasaran dengan salah satu isi surat, ia membaca sebuah surat yang ditulis di tahun 1957, dan kemudian menyurati wanita penulis surat tersebut (Redgrave) untuk kembali ke Verona dan mencari cinta sejati wanita tersebut.

Disutradarai oleh Gary Winick, film ini juga akan menghadirkan akting dari Christopher Egan, Gael Garcia Bernal, Vanessa Redgrave dan Franco Nero.
